When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bello Cura sped through Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ádám Bogdán. In the 25th minute of the match, László Budavári tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Rio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Gelencsér in the 32nd minute of play. If Bello Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's Ádám Bogdán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Máté Gelencsér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noé Nouveau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ádám Bogdán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

But to his dismay, Ben-Ami Ranchin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 87 minutes into the game, Pablo Salomon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Isidoro Rio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ádám Bogdán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben-Ami Ranchin in the 92nd minute. Ben-Ami Ranchin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ádám Bogdán made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Ádám Bogdán threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bello Cura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
