Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerazan Lluba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerazan Lluba spun around in front of the goal 8 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Frontera AFC's goal. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Lizarazu in the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gerazan Lluba put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chiquinho Romero. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Frontera AFC's Edison Cavani fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Bernard Lizarazu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera AFC's zone, Gerazan Lluba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Romero came out of the goal and Gerazan Lluba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Gerazan Lluba notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rik Sirguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Márcico in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Fire Breathers FC's Gerazan Lluba got a free kick in the 54th minute. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Lizarazu in the 57th minute of the match. Frontera AFC's Benigno Aresti was substituted for Isidoro Lluis. After 64 minutes Frontera AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javiero Brieba who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fire Breathers FC's Javiero Brieba to fire away a dangerous shot which Chiquinho Romero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Merentiel got free with Rik Sirguero in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Bernard Lizarazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Arruabarrena hit a great ball. Lucas Blondel charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Blondel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fire Breathers FC booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Blondel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerazan Lluba in the 88th minute of play. There was no doubt that Fire Breathers FC were the better team. Fire Breathers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
