After some careless play in the Frontera AFC defense, Fagondo Mazule kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Romero. The Frontera AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Romero should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Xose Zabarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagondo Mazule in the 19th minute of the match. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petri Arberas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tavio Prus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Chiquinho Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerazan Lluba came free, but Chiquinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Merentiel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rik Sirguero came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Merentiel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 34th minute. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Prus in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Tavio Prus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerazan Lluba, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Chiquinho Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Fire Breathers FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Egun Larquera hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Edison Cavani sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fire Breathers FC's Rik Sirguero didn't even have to move. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Rik Sirguero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Gerazan Lluba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Chiquinho Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Lizarazu in the 90th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Lizarazu in the 91st minute.
