After the first half Heide FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Prestes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in 1948 MKS's zone, Lázaro Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ter Stegen came out of the goal and Lázaro Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigan Frankson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Iwan Dziuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1948 MKS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigan Frankson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Dziuma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rigan Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 1948 MKS's zone, Lázaro Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ter Stegen came out of the goal and Lázaro Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Dziuma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 70th minute of the match. Heide FC's Juvenal Azevedo was substituted for Moises Berenguer. If Torrey Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Lázaro Prestes could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Ter Stegen however easily saved by the left post. After 80 minutes 1948 MKS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leszek Sakowicz who took care of the corner kick. If Torrey Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heide FC's Iwan Dziuma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 81st minute of play. Torrey Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 86th minute of play forced Heide FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dziuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Lázaro Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Ter Stegen. 1948 MKS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Heide FC's Krzysztof Wiater was substituted for Lázaro Prestes. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Wiater, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Heide FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
