The audience was convinced that Guter Tobia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Branco was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Guter Tobia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aves Negras's Enrique Perico suffered a concussion in the 23rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Olívio da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olívio da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aves Negras made a substitution. Aaron Gallagher replaced Enrique Perico. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Talló in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Viorel Pintilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio da Silveira in the 31st minute of the match. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the game, Marcus Talló recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcial Bakar. Marcus Talló showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Cezar Ciorogaru hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Marco Materazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Aves Negras made a substitution. Clarence Seedorf replaced Humberto Urtsin. The wind increased when Marcus Talló made the kick off in the second half. Aves Negras's Guter Tobia got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guter Tobia in the 56th minute of the match. Nautilus's Anselmo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 56th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Goyo. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Marcus Talló sped through Aves Negras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Bakar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Talló in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Bakar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guter Tobia might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guter Tobia ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Nautilus's Anselmo Branco got control of the ball when Guter Tobia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Olívio da Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Bakar. Aves Negras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olívio da Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Aves Negras's Efrain Artal was substituted for Guter Tobia. In the 78th minute of the match, Efrain Artal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anselmo Branco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Pintilie came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Aves Negras's Efrain Artal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Branco. Anselmo Branco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Nautilus made a substitution. Dedê Dias replaced Aba Cadabra. Nautilus were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aves Negras for a fine match.
