Alvaro Urre made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Eero Grönholm sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Urre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sava Chuchev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Txartiko in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Rodolfo Egoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Prodan Milchov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Sørensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Sørensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Txartiko in the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sava Chuchev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Urre was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Sava Chuchev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Urre. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Txartiko in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Sørensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

51 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Grönholm came free, but Alvaro Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eero Grönholm in the 52nd minute of play. Alvaro Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sava Chuchev in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes Rosario Central's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rayko Tzonkin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rayko Tzonkin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Urre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sava Chuchev scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eero Grönholm took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Urre. Alvaro Urre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Eero Grönholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Urre was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Hans Falck's late challenge caught a FC Grivata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Falck helped the player get up and apologised. If Sava Chuchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sava Chuchev in the 68th minute of play. Prodan Milchov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute, Milcho Zhalov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Egoi struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Thomas Sørensen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. Rosario Central's Hans Falck got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Hans Falck off the ground. Rosario Central made a substitution. Placido Gartzea replaced Jacinto Txartiko. Prodan Milchov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Sørensen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetoslav Serdev in the 89th minute of play. Prodan Milchov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Thomas Sørensen made a huge save. Sava Chuchev scored 6-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Grivata fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rosario Central had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
