Artur Brudzisz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIRATAS TFP. The audience was convinced that Moisés Queiroga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Borges was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelito Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Antônio Borges came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga. But to his dismay, Moisés Queiroga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antônio Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Queiroga's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Moisés Queiroga made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Borges. PIRATAS TFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The PIRATAS TFP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bacardi Black Bats were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto de Lara was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto de Lara scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Brudzisz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Calçada got free with Antônio Borges in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Queiroga in the 66th minute of play. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Severiano came free, but Antônio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacardi Black Bats's Michal Parzysz was substituted for Cris Ronaldo. Bacardi Black Bats's Quentin Platt was substituted for Benedicto Afonso. Bacardi Black Bats's Cristóvão França was substituted for Alexandre Mourinho. A very nice done corner allowed Cristóvão França to score against Antônio Borges in PIRATAS TFP's goal. 1-3 after 77 minutes. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tiro Peralta hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antônio Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antônio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Queiroga in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Vander to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bacardi Black Bats booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Borges came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga. But to his dismay, Moisés Queiroga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The PIRATAS TFP supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bacardi Black Bats's performance. The match ended with a win for Bacardi Black Bats.
