Ola Berg made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ove Salkvist sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 9 minutes, Ove Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Gubbhöft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Salkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per Söderberg scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ola Berg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Miniș came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Ola Berg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaac Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magnus Glad's late challenge caught a BK Gubbhöft's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magnus Glad helped the player get up and apologised. Magnus Glad kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ove Salkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ola Berg was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Jofurs Drängar's zone, Ove Salkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ola Berg came out of the goal and Ove Salkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Salkvist to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ola Berg saved Jofurs Drängar from getting behind. After some careless play in the Jofurs Drängar defense, Ove Salkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ola Berg. The Jofurs Drängar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ola Berg should have stopped the shot. Sten Hydén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Berg having to interfere. BK Gubbhöft made a substitution. Ola Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jonas Ahlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ola Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BK Gubbhöft's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
