Zdeněk Reiter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Tande having to interfere. Edvaldo Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeněk Reiter in the 44th minute of the match. Edvaldo Tande was a little too slow when Zdeněk Reiter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Eriberto Tavares got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
