Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ngina Njoroge in the 8th minute of play. Aggelos Telakos made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Boukjan Bunt sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Mwai Emilio Otieno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Jan Fabian got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Burgos came free, but Erasmo Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Robert Šedina in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Erasmo Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Burgos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Robert Šedina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Pluciennik in the 27th minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Aggelos Telakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aggelos Telakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Šedina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Boukjan Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Telakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boukjan Bunt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aggelos Telakos was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Mwai Emilio Otieno scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Diegotxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 50 minutes, Franco Burgos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the George Weahs Academy and the Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robert Šedina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Pluciennik in the 61st minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Aggelos Telakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aggelos Telakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dawid Pluciennik's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Sorin Capșuneanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erasmo Diegotxe could save by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Erasmo Diegotxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ngina Njoroge. When Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Robert Šedina in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye George Weahs Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Šedina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Telakos having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Erasmo Diegotxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jan Fabian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Aggelos Telakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mwai Emilio Otieno got free with Erasmo Diegotxe in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. George Weahs Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
