The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ken Kot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Hernaiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Janusz Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Mendeš came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joar Frisck had great luck who in the 9thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jonathan Ereinotz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 10 minutes FC NORDLAND's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Janusz Škarpa who took care of the corner kick. In the 12th minute Jonathan Ereinotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Skarpa Ełk's Jakub Dembowski in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joar Frisck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 32 minutes into the match, Jakub Dembowski notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck. Joar Frisck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakub Dembowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Joar Frisck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joar Frisck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Ereinotz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 39 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Joar Frisck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Mendeš. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Hughes in the 45th minute of play forced Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Ken Kot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC NORDLAND getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benno Betancor hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Janusz Škarpa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joar Frisck skillfully saved the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Ereinotz to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Ereinotz in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joar Frisck saved FC NORDLAND from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Dembowski in the 52nd minute of play forced FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Joar Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joar Frisck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Ereinotz in the 54th minute of the match. FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Mendeš in the 63rd minute of play. Ken Kot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhys Hughes in the 64th minute of play. Rhys Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ken Kot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joar Frisck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Dembowski in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Skarpa Ełk were awarded a corner. Janusz Škarpa went to the cornerflag to take it. Dariusz Škarpa made a great header on Skarpa Ełk's corner, it was just that FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck managed to reach the ball for a save. 75 minutes into the game, Nuno Mendeš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Joar Frisck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC NORDLAND's Birger Benett was substituted for Rhys Hughes. Patryk Cisek might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Frisck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Ereinotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joar Frisck was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Nuno Mendeš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Skarpa Ełk booed when FC NORDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Hernaiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's Jonathan Ereinotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Frisck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Skarpa Ełk were the better team. Skarpa Ełk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
