Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Torrejón in the 40th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernán Torrejón to make the kick off. Hernán Torrejón might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludomil Ziomkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernán Torrejón ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Torrejón in the 52nd minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Ziomkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Breno Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Guerreiro in the 87th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
