CORSARIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillem Casanoves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CORSARIO booed when Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Despite being the better team, CORSARIO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
