Lars Norberg was a little too slow when Vlad Enceanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. After 18 played minutes, spikarna's Atakan Pepe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in spikarna reached it. Lars Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Enceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Norberg came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by San Fernando Eagles's Vlad Enceanu. But to his dismay, Vlad Enceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 27th minute, Polo Quinteros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niklas Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Salvator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vlad Enceanu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Birger Bergström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bartolo Salvator was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 minutes, Ulysses Schmidt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Fernando Eagles and the spikarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Schmidt. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polo Quinteros in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Polo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Kaj Hård who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bartolo Salvator made a huge save. spikarna's Kaj Hård got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
