In the 14th minute, Martins Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Dolmos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD ZAS's goalkeeper Denis Dolmos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Martins Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Denis Dolmos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Martin in the 26th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Martins Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Denis Dolmos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Loco Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fecha Libre's Gavino Hodei got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Fecha Libre from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Igli Tare came free, but Denis Dolmos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD ZAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Many of UD ZAS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. UD ZAS may have spent more time on the ball, but Fecha Libre were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
