Fire Breathers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mai Jian Xi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciano Trasloseros in the 10th minute of play forced Markowy Team's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Misiewicz struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Zavier Wagner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markowy Team. 13 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Teofilio. 15 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jakue Cameno came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciano Trasloseros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Boruc came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciano Trasloseros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciano Trasloseros in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fire Breathers FC's Teodovico Javia got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Zula Misiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zavier Wagner. Fire Breathers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zula Misiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txurio Cardigondi. In the 38th minute Zula Misiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zavier Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Teodovico Javia came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txurio Cardigondi got free with Artur Boruc in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Markowy Team's Carlos Alcaraz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celso Eate, made in the 55th minute of the game. Fire Breathers FC's Zavier Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Jian Xi in the 58th minute of play. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txurio Cardigondi in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Fire Breathers FC were awarded a corner. Celso Eate went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd minute Mai Jian Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zavier Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fire Breathers FC's Ivan Pillud got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Artur Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodovico Javia went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Fire Breathers FC made a substitution. Ambrosio Sarmanton replaced Teodovico Javia. Fire Breathers FC's Osmundo Careaga got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zavier Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Jian Xi in the 92nd minute of the match. Markowy Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
