Anaia Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Matorin having to interfere. A collision led to Shamans FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Júlio Linhares hit a great ball. Shamans FC's Zeca Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Recife in the 16th minute of play. Edson Recifes short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Zeca Matorin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeca Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaia Barba, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Shamans FC's Zeca Matorin got control of the ball when Edson Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Sílvio Luiz Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Mexilhão F. C. got a corner. Shamans FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anaia Barba ran over to the corner to take the kick. 38 minutes into the match, Shamans FC's goalkeeper Zeca Matorin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edson Recife. Zeca Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 39th minute of the match. Anaia Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Matorin having to interfere. Shamans FC's Zeca Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Shamans FC from getting a goal against them.

After 51 minutes of play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeca Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Recife in the 54th minute of play forced Shamans FC's goalkeeper Zeca Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Júlio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Shamans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anaia Barba came free, but Zeca Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Shamans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Romero came free, but Zeca Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Abel de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Shamans FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeca Matorin should have stopped the shot. Zeca Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaia Barba, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zeca Matorin came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba. But to his dismay, Anaia Barba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Zeca Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaia Barba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Shamans FC's zone, Anaia Barba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Matorin came out of the goal and Anaia Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erivaldo de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Zeca Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaia Barba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edson Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mexilhão F. C. had played much better football throughout.
