Spectators: 469 (Terracing: 352, Seating: 108, VIP seats: 9) Barrilete Cósmico FC's 范升扬 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Román Riquelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 范升扬, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 4th minute of the match, 范升扬 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 6th minute, 范升扬 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 范升扬 might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 范升扬 ran back to his position shaking his head. Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami CF from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, 范升扬 notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's Román Riquelme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Burowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 范升扬 in the 24th minute of play. 范升扬's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Barrilete Cósmico FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Inter Miami CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Eguntsenti took the corner. Alejo Nalo made a great header on Barrilete Cósmico FC's corner, it was just that Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah managed to reach the ball for a save. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 范升扬 in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when 范升扬 came free, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute 范升扬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Placido Mergildo. Fabian Burowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Giunta to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Inter Miami CF's Javier Fridman was substituted for Eriberto Miranda. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tonico Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. Inter Miami CF made a substitution. Erasmo Lekubegi replaced Placido Mergildo. Inter Miami CF made a substitution. Barrilete Cósmico FC made a substitution. Alonzo Caton replaced Nicasio Ostargi. Barrilete Cósmico FC made a substitution. Fabiano Ornelas replaced 范升扬. Alonzo Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Paio in the 80th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalkeeper Fabian Burowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Tonico Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Burowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Fridman got free with Fabian Burowski in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Joe Pancken with Guaberto Paio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 92nd minute of the game Erasmo Lekubegi made a throw-in which Javier Fridman played forward. Fabian Burowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Fridman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rdth minute of the game Tonico Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrilete Cósmico FC's Fabian Burowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Miami CF's Tonico Tinoco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Burowski. That made the score 2-1 after 96 minutes of play.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barrilete Cósmico FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inter Miami CF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
