Gianluca Pagliuca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Pancha Futbol Club's zone, Oliver Bierhoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Cieliczka came out of the goal and Oliver Bierhoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Cieliczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Cebreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Cieliczka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Bierhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Cieliczka having to interfere. Ramiro FC's Márk Vadas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.
