The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 15th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Witomir Pisarczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 23rd minute Simbo FC were awarded a corner. After 37 minutes of play, Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 79 minutes of play, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mías Khalifa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Landgren. Pontus Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Sancho in the 83rd minute. Santa Margarita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Nestor Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Pontus Nordström, making the score, 2-6. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Margarita from getting a goal against them. The Santa Margarita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Simbo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Simbo FC.
