Jose Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Hellsing in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Ignazio. In the 35th minute Andreas Hellsing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lagrima en Jarrita's Andreas Hellsing got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Filiberto Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Ebardo in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Vachon made a kick off. Olgierd Karanowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose Vimaro could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Armando Lore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Vimaro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
