With a little luck, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Fabiano Neto got control of the ball when Di Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Agustín Tastzian made the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 54th minute of play. Di Marinho took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Neto. Fabiano Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Barrenta SC's Marcelinho Ramalho was substituted for Valdemar de Lima. Fabiano Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Betinho Falcão could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Patric Isaksson however easily saved by the left post. Agustín Tastzian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Barrenta SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
