In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Johnny Gobillot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Johnny Gobillot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz. In the 16th minute Ferdinand Hohenzollern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match El Gallo de Moron got a corner. FSX UNITED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentin Ferrando ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rios Ferdinand made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kunnar Väärtnõu however managed to control. 21 minutes into the game, Rios Ferdinand threw the ball into play from the sideline. FSX UNITED's Aldo Benvenuto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Aldo Benvenuto in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Gallo de Moron's Rios Ferdinand. In the 32nd minute Svend Betz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Gobillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rios Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Gobillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svend Betz in the 37th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FSX UNITED's Johnny Gobillot threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Svend Betz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FSX UNITED were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after El Gallo de Moron's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Åke Kvist took the corner. After having played for 45 minutes, Svend Betz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSX UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svend Betz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ye Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Víctor Javier Ebensperger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSX UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Gallo de Moron the free kick. In the 65th minute, Víctor Javier Ebensperger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Gallo de Moron's Aldo Rico was substituted for Ferdinand Hohenzollern. Johnny Gobillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Salas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Liu Peng Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Marcelo Salas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Gobillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FSX UNITED from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Marcelo Salas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSX UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Salas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Baesler came free, but Johnny Gobillot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, FSX UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Advis to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Gobillot came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FSX UNITED's Marcelo Salas. But to his dismay, Marcelo Salas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
