Evaristo Arósio was a little too slow when Frits Berendt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 8 minutes, Frits Berendt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frits Berendt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frits Berendt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Arósio having to make a save. Frits Berendt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Evaristo Arósio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Frits Berendt might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frits Berendt ran back to his position shaking his head. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Berendt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 16 in the game by Frits Berendt from a close distance when the talented Evaristo Arósio managed to make a qualified save. MARINUS MZC's players were relieved. In the 20th minute, Frits Berendt made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 22 minutes, Frits Berendt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER FC and the MARINUS MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Frits Berendt got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Frits Berendt might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frits Berendt ran back to his position shaking his head. Frits Berendt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Evaristo Arósio made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Thiago de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in INTER FC's zone, Abel Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Lira came out of the goal and Abel Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frits Berendts short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Evaristo Arósio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the game, Emerson Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Evaristo Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee gave INTER FC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emerson Cruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio. 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson Cruz to make the kick off. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Berendt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Berendt in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the MARINUS MZC defense, Frits Berendt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Arósio. The MARINUS MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Arósio should have stopped the shot. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Berendt in the 66th minute of play. INTER FC's Germano Luz was substituted for Emerson Cruz. INTER FC's Luís Ferreira was substituted for Frits Berendt. After some careless play in the MARINUS MZC defense, Luís Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Arósio. The MARINUS MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Arósio should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Luís Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Arósio came out of the goal and Luís Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Ferreira in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Luís Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Arósio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when INTER FC's Luís Ferreira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 91 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Luz came free, but Evaristo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the INTER FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
