The supporters of Fălciu booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Zgrăbunţa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Ababei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Codruț Ababei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fălciu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute, Sabin Comșa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Seguinus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Felix Vărzaru was substituted for Ernest Petru. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Fălciu from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sever Tilincă hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Zgrăbunţa to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Tănăsocă missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 30 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Rosendo Seguinus right hand side. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Caranică, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Filip Ivănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Witwicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Witwicki in the 38th minute of play forced Fălciu's goalkeeper Filip Ivănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fălciu's Marian Pascaru was substituted for Bogdan Tănăsocă. Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Comșa in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogdan Udrişte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Pascaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosendo Seguinus. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Sabin Comșa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rosendo Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fălciu. Rosendo Seguinus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Pascaru in the 62nd minute. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Remus Cazan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Codruț Ababei could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Rosendo Seguinus however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 66 minutes, Marian Pascaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fălciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Pascaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Ceaușescu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vladimir Stejaru charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Stejaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Vladimir Stejaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Adam Babarada sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Rosendo Seguinus threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Adam Babarada this time. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Comșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Ivănescu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ciprian Sângeorzan. But to his dismay, Ciprian Sângeorzan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabin Comșa. Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Comșa in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fălciu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
