The supporters of BAYMIŞ SK booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barrie Deacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Gökalp Armağan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zézinho Simões was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Eustacio Garaile came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara. But to his dismay, Florin Susara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zézinho Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gökalp Armağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Susara took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Garaile. Eustacio Garaile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in MarquinhosEC's zone, Ahmet Gökalp Armağan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zézinho Simões came out of the goal and Ahmet Gökalp Armağan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Susara couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Saturnino Hurko put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of MarquinhosEC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BAYMIŞ SK:s goal. Zézinho Simões had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Servet Kılıc's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Freitas in the 45th minute of play forced BAYMIŞ SK's goalkeeper Eustacio Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarquinhosEC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after BAYMIŞ SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florin Susara took the corner. The corner led MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara to fire away a dangerous shot which Eustacio Garaile despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Gökalp Armağan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Zézinho Simões skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eustacio Garaile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Freitas in the 56th minute of the match. Eustacio Garaile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. BAYMIŞ SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Apolo Enaut in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Gökalp Armağan got free with Zézinho Simões in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inácio Freitas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Quinto. In the 73rd minute of the match, Apolo Enaut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zézinho Simões saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Sungur Paksoy sped through MarquinhosEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zézinho Simões. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Kılıc in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BAYMIŞ SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
