Brazilio Butt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pranas Užkuraitis went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, Pranas Užkuraitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brazilio Butt came out of the goal and Pranas Užkuraitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Novac in the 18th minute of play. After 22 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carter Leggeri who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Batalhão do Peçanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stéphane Ballon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Novac in the 26th minute of play. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Ulf Nordlander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petr Čech. Batalhão do Peçanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulf Nordlander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jesper Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ulf Nordlander made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba. Pranas Užkuraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brazilio Butt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Mei Jie Feng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silviu Novac to make the kick off. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Batalhão do Peçanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stéphane Ballon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Bobrowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. Tanek Bobrowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jörgen Beckman in the 68 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 69th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jörgen Beckman in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 73rd minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Silviu Novac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petr Čech was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 75 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when DIF LEEDS BK's Silviu Novac fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Novac in the 77th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Batalhão do Peçanha's Pranas Užkuraitis made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brazilio Butt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Villiam Alströmmer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petr Čech. Villiam Alströmmer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DIF LEEDS BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
