Marcelo Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Rico in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Chiquito Rico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Montrel. Chiquito Rico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. EVERTON de CHILE's Marcelo Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Rico in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by EVERTON de CHILE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Fallabes was slow to take the kick. During this time Monitor Huáscar's players had a chance to rest. After 36th play minutes Chiquito Rico shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Marcelo Montrel and just under the crossbar into goal. Chiquito Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Montrel having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Victorica to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, one of EVERTON de CHILE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiquito Rico made a kick off. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Constantino Carabajo replaced Bernardinho Bala. Monitor Huáscar's Tom Bom was substituted for Carlos Galván. Monitor Huáscar's Milian Lopez was substituted for Johnny Nyström. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind EVERTON de CHILE's goalkeeper Marcelo Montrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Constantino Carabajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquito Rico took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Montrel. Marcelo Montrel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 77th minute, Sixto Cugat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquito Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
