After 9 minutes Tequileros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaur Laving who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Torreão OFF's corner Virgílio Teles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ayhan Vuralhan quite easily take care of the ball. Torreão OFF's Zézinho Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Torreão OFF from getting a goal against them. Zézinho Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Andres Frasco took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Zézinho Freitas to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute, Gocha Head Son made a precise shot to the right of Ayhan Vuralhan. Tequileros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Gocha Head Son had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Frasco got free with Zézinho Freitas in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Tequileros FC's Andres Frasco in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gocha Head Son got free with Ayhan Vuralhan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zézinho Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Baudelio in the 61st minute of play. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Waclaw Szostak replaced Andreas Brehme. After 88 played minutes Torreão OFF got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Maranhense. Zézinho Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Lécuyer in the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Torreão OFF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tequileros FC.
