The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Nixon in the 3rd minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nixon came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoel Liñan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Cavern Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nando Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Lobo Guará's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sandrinho Machado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Barbaros Bozbey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The throw-in from Rodolfo Soares in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Cavern Club's Santiago Emesto. Daniel Anaya came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by The Cavern Club's Richard Nixon. But to his dismay, Richard Nixon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Tobias Otsoa in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lobo Guará's Berker Başhekim. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Nixon in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Nixon in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nixon came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barbaros Bozbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Ezequiel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Bozbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Nixon scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Anaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barbaros Bozbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 37th minute, Ezequiel Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barbaros Bozbey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Uğur Erçelik made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Richard Nixon however managed to control. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rodolfo Soares hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The Cavern Club's Geovani Mendonça was substituted for Richard Nixon. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Pereira to make the kick off. The supporters of The Cavern Club booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Başhekim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Mendonça in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Soares threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Cavern Club's Uğur Erçelik quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lobo Guará's Aykut Adar was substituted for Willian Caca-Rato. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Cavern Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Helge Vallander hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Helge Vallander. Gonzalo Vergaray hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Cavern Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ragnar Lodbrok in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
