FC Regental's Egidius Seyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Regental's Egidius Seyler got control of the ball when Marcelino Chaime tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Minos short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Egidius Seyler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egidius Seyler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palle Rösele in the 18th minute of play. Palle Rösele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Pimenta in the 20th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Robin Lüpke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Regental's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. Robin Lüpke kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Regental's Egidius Seyler got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egidius Seyler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, FC Regental's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Egidius Seyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Armandinho Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Regental fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armandinho Pimenta couldn't finish the play. In the 30thth minute of the game Santiago Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Regental's Egidius Seyler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Santiago Mino from a close distance when the talented Egidius Seyler managed to make a qualified save. FC Regental's players were relieved. Egidius Seyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 42nd minute of play. Egidius Seyler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Mino in the 43rd minute. Palermo's Santiago Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 53 minutes of play, Palermo's Santiago Mino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egidius Seyler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palle Rösele in the 56th minute of play. Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Santiago Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Regental's Egidius Seyler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Manfred Hahnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Arnoldo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Santiago Mino came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egidius Seyler saved FC Regental from getting behind. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Regental's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saul Felo was slow to take the kick. During this time Palermo's players had a chance to rest. Palermo's Saul Felo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Egidius Seyler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 86 played minutes Saul Felo shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for FC Regental's Egidius Seyler to catch but Saul Felo was lucky. It became 3-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Regental's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egidius Seyler saved FC Regental from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Chaime in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Regental's goalkeeper Egidius Seyler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palermo booed when FC Regental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didico Jonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egidius Seyler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Mino's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Arnoldo Medina's late challenge caught a FC Regental's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Medina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arnoldo Medina hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Regental players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palermo.
