The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lazaros Kabantais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saruhan Esir in the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Materos FC's Horacio Abajas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cevdet Hızarcı. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Cevdet Hızarcı successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 29 minutes into the match, Saruhan Esir notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais. Lazaros Kabantais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Birant Hasanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The wind increased when Caetano Messi made the kick off in the second half. Lazaros Kabantais made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Birant Hasanoğlu sent off a good shot on target.
