Sven-Olof Vestlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lucjan Sidorowicz made a huge save. After 8 minutes MKS MŁAWA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Poyraz who took care of the corner kick. Sven-Olof Vestlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Sidorowicz having to make a save. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Danisiewicz in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, one of MKS MŁAWA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MKS MŁAWA. Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucjan Sidorowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Aybars Demirci kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lucjan Sidorowicz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Sven-Olof Vestlund sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Sidorowicz was a little too slow when Sven-Olof Vestlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Lucjan Sidorowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Olof Vestlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Sidorowicz having to make a save. Sven-Olof Vestlund came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucjan Sidorowicz could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Nakonieczny in the 44th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes CAN ERZURUM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zenon Danisiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Zenon Danisiewicz made a great header on MKS MŁAWA's corner, it was just that CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie managed to reach the ball for a save. When Mehmet Poyraz fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAN ERZURUM's protests and gave Mehmet Poyraz a yellow card for diving instead. CAN ERZURUM's Arda Turan was substituted for Mehmet Poyraz. Mehmet Poyraz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. In the 49th minute of the match Zenon Danisiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joar Scheie skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Olof Vestlund made a kick off. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucjan Sidorowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 56th minute of play. Karol Turak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Scheie having to interfere. After some careless play in the MKS MŁAWA defense, Sven-Olof Vestlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Sidorowicz. The MKS MŁAWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Sidorowicz should have stopped the shot. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Vítor Hugo replaced Baba Popescu. CAN ERZURUM's Mehmet Şefik Karadağ was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucjan Sidorowicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 71stth minute of the game Sven-Olof Vestlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS MŁAWA's Lucjan Sidorowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save CAN ERZURUM from getting a goal against them. Lucjan Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Sidorowicz saved MKS MŁAWA from getting behind. Lucjan Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of MKS MŁAWA booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Turan didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the MKS MŁAWA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CAN ERZURUM.
