Adam Matysek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Sävström in the 14th minute of the match. Songur Yoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iggi Kot, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when FC Gdansk36 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Jerzyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Songur Yoran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Olisadebe in the 23rd minute. If Iggi Kot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Edvin Sävström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Witomir Zworski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Songur Yoran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Iggi Kot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songur Yoran came out of the goal and Iggi Kot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Songur Yoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iggi Kot, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Songur Yoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iggi Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías de Lara in the 89th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Songur Yoran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Gdansk36 had won after a very even match.
