With an all-out effort, AF CERRADO's Fraco Sara threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Paulista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Antônio Carlos Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Fraco Sara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Murilo Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fraco Sara having to make a save. With a little luck, Pujpuco's Fraco Sara got control of the ball when Murilo Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes, Antônio Carlos Bueno made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pujpuco's Fraco Sara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Laboy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match AF CERRADO got a corner. Pujpuco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Pombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Antônio Carlos Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fraco Sara was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Antônio Carlos Bueno sped through Pujpuco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fraco Sara. Antônio Carlos Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fraco Sara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Antônio Carlos Bueno put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fraco Sara. 60 minutes into the match, Pujpuco's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Bueno came free, but Fraco Sara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AF CERRADO's Murilo Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fraco Sara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match AF CERRADO got a corner. Pujpuco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this Fraco Sara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fraco Sara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Dennis Contaldi replaced Róbson Bittencourt. AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião was substituted for Marcos Paulista. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Felix Smits replaced Carlos Alberto Jacinto. Thiago Damião struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fraco Sara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. Fraco Sara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Damião went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Murilo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pujpuco's Fraco Sara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 95th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fraco Sara saved Pujpuco from getting behind. Fraco Sara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 97th minute of play. Benedicto Cienfuegos charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Cienfuegos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pujpuco's Benedicto Cienfuegos got a free kick in the 98th minute. In the 99thth minute of the game Antônio Carlos Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pujpuco's Fraco Sara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AF CERRADO fully deserved thier win.
