Cevdet Hızarcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Niva in the 6th minute of play. Zacarias Ascencio stood somewhat misplaced when Birant Hasanoğlu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. A collision led to Celta de Virgos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alexis Sanchez hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Birant Hasanoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Zacarias Ascencio however easily saved by the left post. Celta de Virgos's Biagio Pavlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hüseyin Can Açıkgöz, made in the 13th minute of the game. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Messi in the 17th minute of play. Saruhan Esir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zacarias Ascencio made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Messi got free with Zacarias Ascencio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Ali Asım Dilhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Benny Niva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cevdet Hızarcı. İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Niva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Niva in the 30th minute of play forced İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI's goalkeeper Cevdet Hızarcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Messi in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Dündar Aynacıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevdet Hızarcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Ascencio was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Saruhan Esir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saruhan Esir really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Ali Asım Dilhan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caetano Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Asım Dilhan in the 52nd minute of the match. Zacarias Ascencio came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI's Birant Hasanoğlu. But to his dismay, Birant Hasanoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Benny Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo was substituted for Benny Niva. Celta de Virgos's Filip Leucuța was substituted for Biagio Pavlu. Bernardino Rosio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Messi came free, but Zacarias Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Messi in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI's Caetano Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. David Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Birant Hasanoğlu sped through Celta de Virgos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacarias Ascencio. Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match Celta de Virgos got a corner. İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Rosio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Celta de Virgos's corner Bernardino Rosio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cevdet Hızarcı quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute Ali Asım Dilhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Celta de Virgos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI.
