Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tivadar Demeter took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Benito, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Benito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Rocco was a little too slow when Tivadar Demeter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Benito in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. Cascadia United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iván Pillud in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Iván Pillud got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnold Szuper quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Cascadia United fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Cascadia United's Leopold Greve looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco got control of the ball when Tivadar Demeter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tivadar Demeter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Tarmo Elken got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tivadar Demeter. In the 40th match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iván Pillud to maneuver through the defense. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Benito in the 42nd minute of play. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Benito, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Rocco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd minute, Michel Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Miguel Ángel Benito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamás Lovas struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Arnold Szuper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascadia United. 65 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Benito came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wang Di Yi hit a great ball. Cascadia United made a substitution. Abel Neron replaced Agustin Bittor. Wang Di Yi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Benito in the 71st minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Benito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Arnold Szuper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lei Jian Xiong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Rocco having to make a save. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 79th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Abel Neron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnold Szuper quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Ángel Benito got free with Arnold Szuper in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szombathely Squirrels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luciano Aued in the 95th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tamás Szentesi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonel Rocco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Szombathely Squirrels's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
