Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vasile Blănaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Shearer in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Tudor saved Progresul Pitesti from getting behind. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gordon Miner hit a great ball. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Czempa in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Niculae Şantău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chorache Tofiño in the 18th minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Progresul Pitesti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vadim Tudor took the corner. The corner ended in Allan Shearer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor did a great save. Minerul Baita -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vadim Tudor in the 24th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Allan Shearer got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 24 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Miner. After 33 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Octav Albescu. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Progresul Pitesti's Chorache Tofiño. But to his dismay, Chorache Tofiño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Progresul Pitesti were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Minerul Baita -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florin Logofătu took the corner. Florin Logofătu made a great header on Progresul Pitesti's corner, it was just that Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar managed to reach the ball for a save. After 40 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Şantău. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Octav Albescu hit a great ball. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Şantău in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Shearer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Shearer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Martin Tudor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gordon Miner got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Allan Shearer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Tudor was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresul Pitesti the free kick. Allan Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Xalo Camara replaced Gordon Miner. In the 80th minute Chorache Tofiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chorache Tofiño in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chorache Tofiño in the 86th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Ionuț Vasiliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xalo Camara to maneuver through the defense. Karol Czempa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nistor Maghiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progresul Pitesti. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
