In the 20th minute Tadeu Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Dikaté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Roca, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Desert Fury's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Farias came free, but Nuno Dikaté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Farias succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Nuno Dikaté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Roca in the 34th minute of the match. Nuno Dikaté didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Delgado went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Gallito Pisador CDM's Julio Roca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Dikaté made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
The wind increased when Afonso Amado made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Gallito Pisador CDM's Marcelo Delgado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuno Dikaté. That made the score 1-6 after 58 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Desert Fury's zone, Marcelo Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Dikaté came out of the goal and Marcelo Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes Desert Fury got a freekick which was hit by Ailton Flores. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Gallito Pisador CDM's Marcelo Delgado in the 63rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nuno Dikaté was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Desert Fury through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Delgado in the 64th minute of play forced Desert Fury's goalkeeper Nuno Dikaté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Desert Fury getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ailton Flores hit a great ball. Julio Roca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Nuno Dikaté made a huge save. Julio Roca had several of the Desert Fury's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Nuno Dikaté as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gallito Pisador CDM made a substitution. Joel Izotz replaced Conrado Franco. Desert Fury's Nuno Dikaté proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Desert Fury from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Marcelo Delgado took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Nuno Dikaté to make any attempt to save it. Marcelo Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gallito Pisador CDM made a substitution. Lisandro Sanchez replaced Julio Roca. In the 87th minute Lisandro Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Dikaté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Pedro Maurito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desert Fury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gallito Pisador CDM the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Desert Fury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Maurito to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gallito Pisador CDM booed when Desert Fury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball.
