After a rather tough play, Desert Fury's Pedro Maurito got a free kick in the 16th minute. Desert Fury were furious when Mazinho Albuquerque was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 17 played minutes Desert Fury got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Albuquerque. Gallito Pisador CDM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Higinio Farias in the 19th minute. Desert Fury's Nuno Dikaté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Farias in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Florencio Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Dikaté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Desert Fury defense, Julio Roca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Dikaté. The Desert Fury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Dikaté should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes, Pedro Apalanga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The Desert Fury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Dikaté should have stopped the shot. Julio Roca took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Dikaté. Nuno Dikaté dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bernardo Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Maurito in the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marcelo Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallito Pisador CDM's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Dikaté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Roca to make the kick off. Nuno Dikaté came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gallito Pisador CDM's Higinio Farias. But to his dismay, Higinio Farias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Desert Fury's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Higinio Farias 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Nuno Dikaté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Tadeu Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desert Fury's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
