After 11 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Israel Carvalhal. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Sokolski in the 14th minute of the match. Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Barbieri Sports from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Gonzalo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raimundo Ventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Ventura's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Breno Vergílio firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Elivélton do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Barbieri Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Faria came free, but Breno Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbieri Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Ventura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Benjamin da Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qiu Chuan Ran having to make a save. Raphael Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin da Mata made a kick off. Breno Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria in the 54th minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Thanks to some nice moves Benjamin da Mata could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Qiu Chuan Ran however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute Boruc Sokolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbieri Sports's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
