In the 2nd match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recai Taykurt to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Visen Allu came free, but Iacob Povară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Visen Allu took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iacob Povară. Iacob Povară dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Bociort cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Candido Piedra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Sorin Cupșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Bociort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Povară stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Visen Allu's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Bociort came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Găman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. In the 34th minute Sergiu Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Bociort came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. After 41 minutes of play, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Povară was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Zgrăbunţa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Visen Allu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Altermundi FC's Sergiu Zgrăbunţa got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Altermundi FC defense, Gheorghe Bociort kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Piedra. The Altermundi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Piedra should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Găman in the 78th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Bogătan to maneuver through the defense. Altermundi FC made a substitution. Pío Ducoing replaced Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. Altermundi FC made a substitution. Gaitano Speed replaced Justo Zubicueta. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA made a substitution. Francisc Ciocoiu replaced Iosif Găman. A collision led to F.C CLUJ MEDICINA getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dan Petrescu hit a great ball. Han Ying recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altermundi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C CLUJ MEDICINA.
