A collision led to MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Marcos Blasco hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Modesto Leheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Quinn in the 17th minute of play forced MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Cipriano Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keiran Jenkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Cipriano Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Quinn in the 27th minute of play. AC Milan's Ryan Harding suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Nicolas Che fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's protests and gave Nicolas Che a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Che. Damien Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Madeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nilmar Brasil made a huge save. The supporters of AC Milan booed when MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Keiran Jenkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Lorien. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keiran Jenkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The corner led AC Milan's Gavin Sedgemore to fire away a dangerous shot which Cipriano Lorien despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Modesto Leheren made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keiran Jenkins got free with Cipriano Lorien in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the game, Kasey Griggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN the free kick. Kasey Griggs kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Damien Quinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Daniel Madeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Brasil having to make a save. Cipriano Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Willmott, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Quinn in the 66th minute of play forced MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Cipriano Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Alvaro Bartolome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richard Thompson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Richard Thompson got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Leheren in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilmar Brasil saved AC Milan from getting behind. Damien Quinn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cipriano Lorien came out and tried to block the shot, but Damien Quinn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Milan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
