In the 4th match minute, Tynemouth Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glyn Bullard to maneuver through the defense. Tynemouth Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Róbert Benkó notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tynemouth Wanderers's Trey Nevin. Trey Nevin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Róbert Benkó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Róbert Benkó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Trey Nevin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Bidulescu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Róbert Benkó took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trey Nevin. Trey Nevin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Trey Nevin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbert Benkó went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Trey Nevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Benkó, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Róbert Benkó's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trey Nevin was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Benkó was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Róbert Benkó ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trey Nevin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. After a rather tough play, Tynemouth Wanderers's Glyn Bullard got a free kick in the 56th minute. Róbert Benkó scored 0-9 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trey Nevin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Tynemouth Wanderers's zone, Róbert Benkó stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trey Nevin came out of the goal and Róbert Benkó tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Róbert Benkó struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Trey Nevin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada. Róbert Benkó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trey Nevin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Róbert Benkó received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trey Nevin came out and tried to block the shot, but Róbert Benkó slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Dumitru Bidulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Bidulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John-Paul Amos kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Armada's Róbert Benkó sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trey Nevin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 78 in the game by Róbert Benkó from a close distance when the talented Trey Nevin managed to make a qualified save. Tynemouth Wanderers's players were relieved. If Róbert Benkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaz Denham kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Armada made a substitution. Filomeno Igon replaced Róbert Benkó. A collision led to Tynemouth Wanderers getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gaz Denham hit a great ball. Filomeno Igon struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Trey Nevin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada. Trey Nevin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Trey Nevin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Bidulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jasper Llewellyn's late challenge caught a Armada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper Llewellyn helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Tynemouth Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Llewellyn. Filomeno Igon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trey Nevin came out and tried to block the shot, but Filomeno Igon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Armada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tynemouth Wanderers throughout the match.
