In the 9th minute Nicasio Tijerina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Bartelak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xarles Gadañon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Jerzy Gonsiewski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña. Guillen Ubiña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zbigniew Domalik fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bialski Bastion Legii's protests and gave Zbigniew Domalik a yellow card for diving instead. Guillen Ubiña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Starogardzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Bialski Bastion Legii got a corner. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marek Malik ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guillen Ubiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Malik in the 33rd minute of the match. Ryszard Jeziorkowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislaw Odachowski during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Bialski Bastion Legii were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boguslaw Bartochowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Gonsiewski in the 52nd minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Guillen Ubiña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Bartochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Ubiña having to interfere. Estevez Lavega kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Starogardzki in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Milosz Starogardzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clementi Llamosas to maneuver through the defense. Walery Bartelak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevez Lavega in the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Jerzy Gonsiewski took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Guillen Ubiña to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Bialski Bastion Legii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Starogardzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Martxel Bernia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Guillen Ubiña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Domalik in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Boguslaw Bartochowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Guillen Ubiña however easily saved by the left post. Boguslaw Bartochowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bialski Bastion Legii's Walery Bartelak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevez Lavega in the 91st minute of play. Zbigniew Domalik was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd minute, Zbigniew Domalik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
