After 4 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Crocker. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Carballeira in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Brandt saved Alianza Trujillo from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Carballeira got free with Tomas Brandt in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Sawyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilveszter Szegh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Mannell kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when José Puch came free, but Mattias Sawyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alianza Trujillo were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Memphis Grizzlies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Obano Mezcano took the corner. 23 minutes into the game, Pudes Vilas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mattias Sawyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 26 minutes on the clock, Jude Lawen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomas Brandt. After 30 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Tony Jones. Memphis Grizzlies's Mattias Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 32nd minute of play. Mattias Sawyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Szilveszter Szegh's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Tomas Brandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Theobold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Tony Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Memphis Grizzlies's zone, Obano Mezcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Sawyer came out of the goal and Obano Mezcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vinicio Carballeira made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Alianza Trujillo's Jean-Luc Picard got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Croft in the 57th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Obano Mezcano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mattias Sawyer made a huge save. 何岚岚 kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Ian Prutton replaced Ty Hislop. Memphis Grizzlies's Jack Greenfield was substituted for Calvin Croft. A collision led to Alianza Trujillo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. 何岚岚 hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Memphis Grizzlies's Stuart Banks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Brandt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 73rd minute, Stuart Banks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Brandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ronny Theobold hit a great ball. Romeo Crocker kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Stuart Banks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Brandt. Alianza Trujillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stuart Banks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Mattias Sawyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pudes Vilas in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Stuart Banks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tomas Brandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Stuart Banks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Memphis Grizzlies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
