Marcelito Vivar took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Sawyer. Mattias Sawyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Memphis Grizzlies's Mattias Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 14th minute of play. Mattias Sawyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Puch, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mattias Sawyer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Puch in the 35th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Mattias Sawyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Memphis Grizzlies players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alianza Trujillo were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ty Hislop made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mattias Sawyer. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 57th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Mattias Sawyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Mattias Sawyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Puch. In the 60th minute, José Puch made a precise shot to the right of Mattias Sawyer. Memphis Grizzlies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Mattias Sawyer made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when José Puch sent off a good shot on target. Alianza Trujillo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
