The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximilian Seger got free with Anton Utfal in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximilian Seger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Anton Utfal made a huge save. Maximilian Seger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Utfal came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximilian Seger slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Ahlin's goalkeeper Anton Utfal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximilian Seger. With a little luck, FC Ahlin's Anton Utfal got control of the ball when Tor Olofsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anton Utfal made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Maximilian Seger sent off a good shot on target. FC Ahlin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Sandell made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Michael Gudmundsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Utfal was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Michael Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mansfield Town FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
