Baltasar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Nimass, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Jaunzuria got free with Angelo Melani in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 minutes Girondins4Ever's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Almiron who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Americo Florinio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Girondins4Ever's Angelo Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Almiron in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Although Sacro Balompié had been in control for most of the match, Girondins4Ever still came away with the win.
