Kutluay Ömürcan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutluay Ömürcan to maneuver through the defense. Schuster's Anfilogino Pittelli got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Musko Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Bezerra in the 55th minute of play forced Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Flavio Miconi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schuster and the Donzela de Ferro FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute Mauro Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Rafa Queirós threw the ball into play from the sideline. Schuster's Saul Piarres quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Musko Cuevas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schuster. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Bezerra in the 74th minute of play. The Donzela de Ferro FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Henrique de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Musko Cuevas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Piarres in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Bezerra came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Mauro Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
